With two decades of experience in golf design, development, and operations, Miller Golf Design provides a fully integrated, sustainable product that enhances the golf experience.

Troy Miller

Troy began his career working on site at Pete Dye's Ocean Course on Kiawah Island, various Tom Fazio and Nicklaus golf designs throughout the Southeast, and on renovations of a top 10 course in the world. As a Design Associate and Director of Golf Design for Landmark Land Company he designed courses throughout the United States, the Caribbean and Europe including Apes Hill Club in Barbados and Lake Presidential Golf Club in Maryland.  As Miller Golf Design, Troy's projects include master planning and expansion of existing golf courses in the Mid Atlantic and Southeastern United States, a renovation of a golden age designed course in the Carolinas, and a new 18 hole course in Virginia.  Troy's experience in the golf industry has also included operational duties at every level, and benefited from Landmark Land Company's fully integrated approach to design, development and operation of not just golf courses, but the communities in which they exist.  This led to the multiple discipline approach that Miller Golf Design takes on in each of its projects, exploring 'the big picture' to ensure every project provides the best overall experience.

Troy is a native of Charleston, South Carolina, a graduate of The University of North Carolina Asheville and The University of Georgia where he taught Golf Course Architecture in the School of Environmental Design.
